This ferry allows to go from the area of S. Mark to that of Salute and of Zattere, in the east part of the sestiere of Dorsoduro, and vice versa. On the day when in Venice it is celebrated the Madonna della Salute, the ferry is substituted by a "votive bridge" mounted on boats to favour the continuous flow of Venetians to the Salute Temple.
