In the Centre of the village, at the mouth of the bridge rises high the parish church of San Martino, rebuilt in 1830: great interior with an aisle, side altars and a small presbytery. The high altar is attributed to Sansovino and comes from the Church of the Beata Vergine della Navicella demolished at the time of Napoleon. In Sottomarina there were various churches which were destroyed during the war of Chioggia.
